We also use the embedded media block. We host our videos at Wistia and then embed them. That way, if only the video needs to change, I don't have to republish the entire course.
You can use virtually any video file format. When you use a video block, you can add that file directly from your laptop! Matt mentioned embedding video, and that's another way to add media when it is hosted externally.
Hi, Dyan! Rise 360 should be fully functional during a trial. If you can share the video file you're trying to upload, you can link it using the Add Attachment button in your discussion reply. You can also share it with my team privately here, and we'll test it out.
Regarding the export issue, I see that Sheila from my team is working with you in a case. Let her know how you make out with testing other browsers when exporting your Rise 360 course, and she'll work through next steps with you!

You can insert video files as well as web videos into your Rise 360 courses. Use the multimedia video and embed blocks:

Okay...so is the reason that I can't upload from my own files because I'm in trial mode?
