I'd like to be able to utilise the full width of the screen in Rise, and rather than tell the learner to scroll up and close the menu in Rise, I wondered if there was a Javascript call I can add to a button in Storyline to do it?
If anyone knows the Javascript function that is called when the menu button is pressed, I could probably work out the rest. Well, I'd give it a good go :)
It sounds like you'd prefer the Rise 360 menu hamburger icon to follow you as you scroll down the lesson. That way, you can click it at any time to open or close the sidebar menu. Would that solve your need?
If so, I'll share that feature request with our team!
Hi Alyssa, your suggestion would be handy, but what I really wanted was to use a button in the embedded Storyline file that would call the JavaScript that closes the Rise menu. Is that even possible?
But it's fine, as I noticed my embedded Storyline file is the same width irrespective of whether the Rise menu is open or not.
I haven't seen examples of an embedded Storyline file that would call the JavaScript that closes the Rise menu, but hopefully other Java-savvy community members can chime in to help!
