Hello, when i export a course developed at rise, the exported html comes with the <html lang = "en"> tag but I needed it to be <html lang = "pt-BR">. Obviously I can download and edit the file myself, but I have a lot of courses. Is there a way to automate this process by Rise itself?
It sounds like you want your learners' browsers to recognize the Rise 360 text as another language besides English, is that right?
While we can't provide support for modified published output, you can try changing the language attribute from en to another language in the index.html file, saving the file, and then uploading the edited package back to your web server or LMS.
Feel free to provide an update on how that worked!
Is there any update on this? We write in Swedish, screen readers will read the courses in "English" with broken Swedish. . It really would be good to be able to define the primary language in the Rise settings! Still no way to do this?
Hi Wendy! No updates on this yet, but we're tracking requests to set the language output for published content. We'll let you know if we make any changes regarding this.
Any updates for this? I'm creating courses in Dutch. Even if I manually change the index.html from lang=en to lang=nl there is still a problem in the individual content pages. When I inspect these pages in the Chrome Devtools, the parameter is set to lang=en again. A blind user complained today that the course is unreadable.
Hi Sim! Thanks so much for checking in. We don't have any updates to share at this time. We'll update this thread in the future with any news so that you're in the loop!
