Issue with Rise course in LMS

Aug 02, 2022

Hi

I've created a course in Rise360 which contains 21 MP4 videos, and the course works fine in Rise preview mode.  The videos add up to around 1GB but when I export to Scorm it's 440MB, so the first question is, does Scorm compress the videos and this sounds about right?

Secondly, the course when uploaded to the LMS doesn't work fully.  The first video is fine and the second video comes up with an error - "The media could not be loaded, either because the server or network failed or because the format is not supported"

Does this sound like a course issue or the LMS?

Thank you

Hi Andrew! Yes, Rise 360 compresses videos, which is why we recommend using high-quality videos. You may check this article regarding Rise 360: Best Practices for Images, Videos, and Audio to learn more.

As for videos coming up with errors, I'm curious whether the issue only occurs in your LMS platform. I would suggest opening a support case here and sharing your files as well so that we can further investigate. Our engineers are on standby and ready to help!
