I'm creating a Rise module that will be taken on an iPad. I would like to a link to a PDF document (stored on Google Drive or elsewhere) and be able to download the PDF document to the iPad. Is this possible?
I've tried using buttons, creating hyperlinks, attaching the file, and embedding the file. None of those options gives an option to download on the iPad. Attaching the file only displays the first page of the PDF.
With iPad(Safari browser) I also have problem to download PDF files. When clicking on the PDF file instead of downloading, it opens in iPad, but the Interactive PDF file is not shown completely. Note: With Android devices, there is no problem at all.
Hi Jack! I am here to help. Most browsers today are set to open downloadable PDF files in the browser. To save the PDF file on an iPad, you can have the learner click on the attachment block and open the PDF file in a new tab. Once they click on the PDF file, an "Open in" button will appear at the bottom of the screen. They can click on that button and choose Save to files.

HI Jennifer! Could you please help us out with some details that will help in testing?
- What is the iOS version of the iPad?
- Which browser are you using?
