Mobile view of a Storyline block in Articulate Rise

Dec 24, 2019

Hi all!

I have prepared an e-learning in Articulate Rise, and I included some storyline blocks to increase engagement. In laptops it's looking great, but in tablets or phones, the storyline block doesn't show automatically, and it looks like a video with a black frame and a play button.

I know that the learner can press play, and it will open the storyline block, but I'm concerned about the looks, it doesn't look good. Maybe there is an option that allows you to put a thumbnail picture, instead of a black frame. I couldn't find a way.

So, I had two:

1. Is there a way to fix it? (See attachment)

2. If not. Will there be a way to fix it in the future?

Hello, People Development Team!

When viewing Storyline 360 content in a Rise 360 course on a mobile device, your learners will always see the playback button (you can test this when you preview your course in Rise 360). This is normal behavior for mobile browsers.

Let me know if you have other questions about that!
