I have a video on my desktop, it plays and has audio, everything fine there. Once added to Rise it plays, without audio. Same when exporting. All browser and player volumes are up.
I am using the Video content type and authoring in Chrome (up to date version). In this particular course I have 3 videos, all using the Video content type, and all .mp4.
1 plays fine and 2 don’t. All edited in and exported from iMovie to my desktop, desktop to Rise. I have created several courses with videos and this is the first issue I’ve had.
Thanks, Drew. Could you share one of these videos files here with me? I'm not running into any issues with my own videos, so it'd help to take a look at yours and do some comparison.
Hi, Im having the same issue. I create an MP4 in iMovie, its runs with Audio on my laptop but its losing sound when loaded into Rise. Did you find a solution to this?

Hi Drew,
That's definitely unusual for the audio to disappear once inserted into Rise. What lesson/block type are you adding the media too?
Also, what browser are you authoring your Rise courses in?

In fact the Rise template video does not play any sound.
Hi Paul,
Thanks for reaching out and sharing your experience as well.
I just used an iMovie file in this Rise course and the audio works as expected.
Would you be able to share your MP4 so that we could take a look and do some testing?
