New in Rise 360: Image Cropping
Jun 23, 2020
Creating gorgeous courses with Rise 360 is even faster and easier with the new image cropping feature we’ve just released.
Whether you’re using an image from Content Library 360 or uploading your own, now you have more control over the appearance of the images in your Rise 360 courses built right into your course creation workflow. Image cropping is handy for removing distracting items from an image, or for directing your learners’ focus to a specific area of an image.
Image cropping is available for Rise 360 images, in nearly every block type. Click the Edit button and then choose Crop Image. To focus on a certain part of an image, grab the drag handles and place them over the portion of the image you want to feature. Here’s a GIF to show you how it works:
Want to maintain a 1:1 image ratio (helpful for flashcard images and quote block avatars)? Check the Constrain to Square box in the lower left:
Want to revert to the original image? Your uncropped image is still available in Rise 360. On the Crop Image screen, move the drag handles back to where they were originally and click Save.
We hope you love the flexibility this new feature gives you! If you don’t have an Articulate 360 subscription, sign up for a free 60-day trial to check it out.

This is a great add. Thanks.
So cool. I just shared with a workmate that cropping was a limitation...but voila, Articulate.Problem.Solved. Thank you.
Wow! Somehow I totally missed that this tool is now in Rise. I use Rise a LOT, so this will save me a lot of extra work. Thanks!
