I built a course in Rise with scenario-based questions, so I turned off the Previous & Next buttons.
But I also want to include a quiz in this course. The problem is, when I finish and pass the quiz there is no way to continue. There is no continue button (and the prev & next buttons are turned off).
Thanks for posting your question here in the E-Learning Heroes forum. We are aware of this issue (not being able to continue past the Results when Next/Prev buttons are turned off) and we do have a fix coming! I can't give a specific ETA but rest assured it's something that we are working on.
In the meantime, I can suggest using the Quiz only at the END of the course, but using the ungraded knowledge check blocks as assessments throughout the course. That would be a solution until the fix comes! :)
Thanks again for taking the time to let us know about this issue! Have a nice day!
Good suggestion, but in this case, my contractor wants specific topics to be assessed in different quizzes throughout the course, so more specific feedback on which topic you need to study more can be given.
Hi! I've created a quiz and tried the above, but still don't see a CONTINUE button appear. I do see a take again button. Will the button only appear once you've exported the e-learning, or should it also be visible in Preview mode? I'm building a course for a very small audience, so wanted actually to just keep it online and not export it to web / LMS..
Unfortunately, that’s not currently possible. If you have time to log a feature request and tell us more about how you'd like it to work, that would be super helpful!
In the meantime, let me know if there’s anything else I can help you with.
Thank you Allison - I did a workaround - expanded the navigation guide at beginning and just prior to quiz to direct the user to scroll down to next section (Package Completion) and exit LMS
I'm very excited you added the continue button after the quiz. The issue now is that is very hard to see and users are having issues seeing this kind of buttons and I'm getting lots of complains that they can not move forward. Is there a way we can manipulate this button by adding color, renaming it and making the font bigger so is more obvious to the user that they have to click on this section in order to continue.
We are having this issue as well. It takes a good 5 to 10 seconds for the continue button to load and the user has to scroll down. People are missing it completely. The continue option either needs to be bigger, or we need the option to add a continue button block.
I'm having the same issue today. Have tried the No sidebar and turning off the next and previous buttons but still only getting "Try Again" button and no "Continue".
Hi everyone! I’m thrilled to announce we’ve added an option to choose a continue button style on the quiz results page. Now, your learners will see the familiar continue button that adopts your course theme color if you select this option in the quiz settings.
We’re here if you have questions about how this feature works.

Thank you for your reply, Nicole.
Nice to hear a fix is coming!

... and please keep me posted! ;)
Hi Renzo,
Good news - we have now added a Continue button after Quiz for courses where the Next/Prev buttons have been turned off.
If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to reach out!
Yes! That's great news.
Thank you so much.
Renzo
Could you please show us how this is done?
Hi Tony,
To make this work, follow these steps:
The continue button will appear automatically after the quiz!
Let me know if you have any problems getting this to work.

Hi Allison, so currently this only works with the "No Sidebar" option?
Hi Maxwell,
That's correct. You need to deactivate the prev/next buttons AND the sidebar for this to work.
I hope that makes sense! Let me know if you have any other questions.
Thank you. Will be nice if it works with the sidebar as well.
Thanks for your feedback, Maxwell! Would you be up for logging a feature request to tell us more about your specific needs?
In the meantime, if there’s anything else I can do to help, please let me know!

Hi Sanne,
Did you turn off both the prev/next buttons AND the sidebar? Those are the conditions to make the Continue button appear.
You should be seeing it if you're previewing the whole course. However, if you're just previewing the quiz lesson you won't see it.
If you're still not seeing it, the quickest way to resolve this issue is to have our Support Team take a look. You can submit a case here.
In the meantime, if there's anything else I can do to help, please let me know!
Not very useful to lose the sidebar - can the feature be added as a continue after quiz ?
Hi Garth,

Thanks for letting us know how you worked around it, Garth. We'll keep you posted if we make any changes to this feature in the future!

Ditto, this would be nice to see addressed.
OMG! It worked!!!
I would like to continue after the quiz AND have the side bar!! I am adding a feature request, but I think it is more of a bug.

Has this issue resurfaced recently?
