If I unzip the scorm packagde on a webserver - which file start the course? There seem to be no index-file? We are not using scorm packages in our LMS, but are importing learning as remote learning just using an url - is this possible?
Hi Elisabeth, I export as "No LMS - Web Only" and unzip the zip-file on a web-server. I can then use the url and link to the content from a Storyline course or from a LMS (in our case Saba) and use the LMS tracking (signoff) instead of scorm to make the course completion in the LMS. Hope this helps :-)
How does the html export work in terms of how the content is stored? It looks like the entire course is located within the index.html file and all of the actual content encrypted within the 'data' variable string? Is that right?
Just wondering as had hoped to be able to tweak some labels etc directly in the html after export (though I know this functionality is coming within Rise).

If you are not using SCORM tracking, use this option highlighted in blue at export:
https://cl.ly/1f313r1J3w22 (No LMS - Web Only)
Then, index.html will start your course.

Thanks - this works fine !
Sorry - it didn't work for me - how do you use the product as just web based? Not sure how to embed into a course

Your assumption is correct, Stuart. Hang tight for the real feature. 😀
Hi Adam, following up on this.
Hi Mandla,
Are you wondering if it's possible to update labels? If so, the answer is yes! Here's an article that explains how that works.
If there's anything else I can do to help, please let me know!
In case of SCORM, which file starts the course?
