How about chaning the background color outside of the steps? It is possible in more or less all other blocks it seems, and I am quite sure that it has been possible here as well. But now I can't find it? 

Following...I have the same question. It really looks out of place and ruins the flow of the presentation if you have background color on the rest of the blocks.
