Publish a Rise course as a cd-version - is it possible?

Oct 12, 2020

Hi,

is it possible to publish a Rise-course on CD?

If not: Is there a workaround to use a Rise-Course offline?

Thank you for your support!

Hello, Wolff!

While Rise 360 doesn't have a "publish for CD" option, you can still provide your course offliine!

Offline viewing is supported in Google Chrome, Firefox, and Safari. Just export a Rise 360 course as a web package, extract the zip file, then launch the index.html file.  Once you've got the files downloaded to your computer, you can send them along to your users to view offline on a laptop.

I hope that helps!

Hi Alyssa, if there are resources that we link to (e.g. with the attachment block), will everything including the resources be included in the package so that these can be all accessed offline? This is how the offline packages we have previously built work with SL360, but just wanted to check if RISE is the same.

Thanks,

Vispi.
