Hi there, Henrietta. Let's try a couple of ideas:

  • First, make sure you're using a supported browser for authoring. Older versions of Safari, for example, didn't work for recording audio directly in Rise 360.
  • Log out and back into Articulate 360. Re-open your course and try recording audio again.
  • If your preferred browser doesn't work, try another supported browser. That will help us figure out if there is something in the browser that is preventing audio from being recorded.

Since you're using Chrome on a Mac, can you check this Google Chrome support document on using your microphone? Make sure Chrome has permission to access your microphone. Let us know if that doesn't work by clicking here!
