I need to create a quiz based on a document. Can I upload the document so it is available as a resource and linked within the quiz so it can be accessed for review during the quiz?
Not aware of a way to attach a document to a Rise Quiz. You can certainly upload the document as a resource within your Rise course in a Lesson block. On the quiz start page inform your audience that they need to access the resource document before starting the quiz.
Alternatively, if you have the ability to host your resource document outside of Rise, you can simply add a link to that document on the quiz start page.

Karl is right, there's no way to add an attachment to a quiz, however his workarounds sound like great options! :)
