Rise 360 course labels
Jun 18, 2019
Hi there, I was just wondering if there was a way to remove the numbers in the global label section. I have labeled my "modules" when I created the sections to correspond with a book that I have, however Rise seems to create it's own numbers and that creates confusion. is there a way to turn the numbers off or have it skip "introduction" as lesson 1? I have attached some images to show what I am talking about
thank you

You are right, Rise has its own numbering system, and it numbers all Lessons starting with the first Lesson at the top of the Menu.
This is a pain, and unfortunately there is no way to turn the numbers off.
Our work-around to not display two different numbers side by side (lesson 3 -2) , is to not number the Rise Lessons. Then we also edited the label set and renamed "Lesson" to "item".
So applying these changes to your example it would say: Item 3 - Recommendations for enhancing resilience in your agency today.
Still clumsy and certainly not ideal.
Hmm...this may be something to think about changing in the future for people who want their modules to correspond with a PDF or book they already have printed.
