Hi there, Emily! When you publish a new version of an existing item in Review 360, your comments from earlier versions remain. Here's a bit more about working with your version history in Review 360.
I am getting pretty frustrated with Review and comments being lost. This has happened on two of my courses now. I create a course, publish it for review, send out notices to reviewers, they comment, I make changes, publish a new version, and the comment disappear. Am I doing something wrong?
Regarding comments on earlier versions, perversely I can see the most up-to-date comments, but the content is unrevised. If there is a way to scrape the comments from the earlier version and insert them into the latest, that would be good.
Very good explanation. I think, though, I have found a possible explanation of my issue. When I open a course in Rise, from the Articulate list, it defaults to opening in Internet Explorer. I need to copy the url and paste it into Chrome. Publishing from there defaults to Publish a new version of an existing item. If I do not move over to Chrome, and inadvertently publish from IE, I just saw that it will Create a new item. I guess the new item overwrites everything except the revised comments. I will look into this more.
Thanks for the update, Rick. Something else I notice in this discussion is that you might have more than one Articulate ID. When switching browsers, make sure you confirm which Articulate ID you're logged in with, as well.

Hey Rick,
Sorry that keeps happening to you! To double-check, do you see the comments if you switch to an earlier version?
Also, do you resolve the comments after making the changes in the course?
Hi Alyssa,
I do not resolve them; kind of new to Review. How does that help this situation?
I see that the comments go away, but are retained and viewable when Show resolves comments is clicked.

Hey Rick!
Check out this 1-minute video I recorded for you about Resolved Comments. I think it will clear everything up!
