Great question, Mary!

Rise 360 is just a course development app. Training developed in Rise 360 must be exported to a learning management system (LMS) for viewing, tracking, and analytics.

Rise.com is an all-in-one online training system that gives you one place to create, track, manage, and analyze your training. Rise.com includes all the authoring functionality from Rise 360, plus a library of pre-built lessons on common business topics and sample courses. Once you’ve created a course, you can enroll learners, track their progress, and analyze training effectiveness—all within Rise.com. You can even allow learners to browse and self-enroll in training you make available in Rise.com.

In short, Rise 360 lets you create courses only. Rise.com lets you create, distribute, track, and analyze courses.

Beware! If you have a team of people, and you ask them to create an Articulate 360 account to build Rise courses, they might mistakenly create an account with Rise.com SINCE THEY SHARE ALMOST THE SAME NAME.

And then, when you want to share/export your course with your Articulate 360 team, you can't! The courses need to be recreated in Rise 360. This is so frustrating!!

My organization is interested in creating courses using Rise only and export it to our local LMS.  As a start we are planning this for 30 to 50 users.  Is there is a way to acquire licenses for Rise only, excluding the other Articulate 360 components?  Rise features are quit enough for us.  Why should we pay for the whole package?  Are there any available options?

Hi Faiz!

Thanks for reaching out! Rise 360 is part of the Articulate 360 suite of products and can't be purchased separately.

No point, we have had word from support that there is no way of copying or exporting from the RISE LMS version to the Rise Articualte Version. in a normal day to day thats fine as we do not use rise LMS, the issue arose due to it not being clearly sign posted that if you start creating a RSIE LMS course you can't do anthing with but host it in the RISE LMS and the fact that the free trial link for the RISE LMS is on the RISE 360 promo page.
