Thank you for the rapid response. How do you deal with trying things out and then determining you don't like the changes? I know initially, you have the opportunity to undo a delete, but there is no CTRL-Z/undo for anything else. Am I missing something?

You need an internet connection to work in Rise as it is a web authoring tool. There is no offline editing mode.
You cannot turn auto-saving off either.

CTRL+Z works while making text edits. It does not work to undo deleting a block.
I have a course I use just for trying things out.
I make multiple copies of the same block, and try different things.
Once I've made a decision, I use a block template to make a copy of what I just did, and then insert that template in the actual course.
Thanks Karl!
