Rise - client reviews/collecting feedback

Dec 08, 2016

Hi

I've been reading that Rise is planned to get Articulate Review capabilities next year, which is great.

What do people plan to do in the short term, or where we're unable to dictate how our clients review content?

In Adapt we can use the "inspector extension", which displays the internal ID of each block/component on mouseover, giving clients an easy way to reference each element in order to provide feedback (i.e. CO-02: "Please change the word "two" to "three" in the first paragraph).

Does each element within Rise have its own ID, and as such, is this a possible way of working with reviews?

Thanks, Adam

Hi Adam,

I don't know that it's particularly creative, but I did hear of at least one Rise author who was using Peek to record the Rise presentation. They then shared the Peek video with reviewers (Peek uploads into Review) and individuals could comment on the Peek video, and it'll include the timestamps and screenshots for when they commented.  Not a perfect solution, but a good interim one since the ability to have Rise content within Articulate Review is a feature slated on our road map for Q2 of 2017. We'll keep you posted as we get closer to that date - but with Articulate 360 once the feature is released you'll have it right away.

As always, I suspect our community is a bit more creative than I am and hopefully they'll have other ideas for you here. ;)

Great news!  We just released another update for Articulate 360, and included a few important fixes and new features that you'll see in the release notes here.

The item you may be interested in is:

Publish Rise courses to Articulate Review to gather feedback from stakeholders. Collect in-context feedback, follow threaded discussions, and mark comments resolved.

Here’s a quick tutorial on how to get started with this feature!

You can access all the Articulate 360 and Rise tutorials from this page.
