I notice that you can't restrict someone's advancement based on whether they watched the Rise video or not. That was definitely a feature before. Was this changed, or is mine just not working for some reason?
Here is my test course - you can advance in the course without listening to the audio files or watching the videos:
Do you know if there is some way to prevent learners from skipping ahead in the audio or video files? Looks like they can still proceed if they just move the marker to the end of the file. Thanks!
Hi Leslie! Thanks for this info! Any idea when this might be implemented? We are implementing a compliance course and are having to choose something other than Rise due to the fact that learners can skip ahead if they want. So the first course we make will have to be in a different medium, but I am hoping the feature comes out soon enough that the next course could be in Rise. Thanks!
Thanks for sharing your need and use for this feature. You could certainly set that up within Storyline, which is part of your Articulate 360 as well. Choosing the right tool for the job is always key :)
Just wanted to see if there was any update on this, and if it was possible to prevent learners from advancing through a video uploaded to Rise (or even disable video controls entirely, outside of maybe play/pause and volume). Thanks for your help!

It appears you used a blocks lesson, in my experience the behavior you're describing is only available in the video pre-built lesson. Maybe test that.
Hi Rebecca -
Check out Continue Blocks. They are just what you want!
That worked, Adam, thank you so much!

Hi Rebecca! Great question. Locking the video seekbar is a feature that we have seen requested and it is on our radar.

Hi Rebecca,
I do not have an ETA on this.

Hey Richard - we are almost done with this feature that prevents forward seeking on videos. Hang tight!
Yaaaaaaay!!! Can't wait!
