We have VERY length Rise course that I need to assign today. There are embedded PDFs for download. When I click on the link to download, it kicks me out of the course, and when I go back I have to start over again - the resume function doesn't seem to work. I have never had this problem with any courses before. We have navigation set to restricted, so if someone has to start over, they cannot jump to the section where they left off. I cannot change this per executive management at our company.
The Rise course cannot resume, most likely because it does not have an opportunity to save any data before a learner gets kicked out of the course after clicking on the PDF download link.
That definitely doesn't sound right, so I'm glad you reached out. Would you mind if we had a closer look at your course?
You can send us the LMS output file by opening a case here. Our Engineers can test it in SCORM Cloud, and LMS testing tool, to see if the same problem is happening there.
