RISE courses are not tracking completion. Videos are not loading or having comparability issues.

Hello! Wondering if anyone else has encountered an issue lately with course completion.  Courses that have worked fine over the past few months are now not marking complete for our users.  We notice this is happening in courses that contain video.  It appears there could be a time-out issue or we were wondering if there are any browser encoding updates we may need for the videos.

Hi there, Cari-Ann. Have you noticed that this is happening for learners who are using Chrome or Edge? 

In February, we added support for Google Chrome 80, which no longer allows synchronous XHR when a web page is closed. First, make sure you've exported your courses since February to take advantage of this enhanced support. Update your LMS with the new version.

If it still isn't working in Chrome, test your output in SCORM Cloud to see if completion is working there. If so, you can ask your LMS support team if they've released an update to maintain compatibility with Chrome changes.

Thank you.  This is happening for learners on both Chrome and Edge.  It is intermittent and the majority of users are able to complete the course with no issues.  Our courses have been exported since February so I dont think it is the Google Chrome 80 issue. I will ask our LMS support about the compatibility with Chrome changes. Thanks.
