Rise: Multiple Answer Questions in knowledge check blocks?

Hi there,

It's great that the new question types have been added to the quiz feature, but is there a plan to have this added to the interactive knowledge check in the blocks? A few of the rise courses I am working on at the moment make use of the blocks due to the flexibility it offers and would benefit from these question types being available. I feel like this is an essential next step for the features so an update on when or if this will be added would be lovely.

Thanks :)

Hi Sara,

As you mentioned, multiple-response questions are currently only available for quiz lessons, but I'll be sure to relay your request for this to be available for knowledge check blocks as well. Such a great feature request!

P.s. If there's anything else you'd like to see on Rise or any of our other products, please feel free to share your thoughts with our product team here! They love hearing new ideas and suggestions.

I'd like to echo what Sara has said and also request this feature!  It's awesome to have the ability to ask questions like this outside of quizzes and it would be great to get the full functionality.  I'm currently looking at the possibility of converting some of our compliance/onboarding training from Storyline to Rise and having the ability to implement multiple answer questions would be helpful (as we ask multi-answer questions a lot - for example, 'Select all four of our values' out of a list of eight).

Hopefully this has made the roadmap and will be delivered at some point in the future.

Hey, Max – thanks for adding your voice!

I saw you also posted in another discussion, so I can see why having multiple-response questions in the knowledge check block would come in handy for you. Your participation is what makes this community the great place it is.

Your insights are attached to its feature request report, so I have you covered ☺️ Here's how we manage those feature requests, and feel free to share any other thoughts you have here

Hey everyone!

I just wanted to pop in with a quick update:

We love knowledge checks so much, we gave them their own space!

Use the Knowledge Check category in the blocks library to add multiple choice, multiple response, fill-in-the-blank, and matching knowledge check blocks to your lessons. And easily switch existing knowledge checks from one question type to another.

You can read all about the latest release here.

Just let us know if you have any further questions.
