First, can you let me know what image/file types you are using? Also what browser have you tested uploading to Rise in? You'll want to use one of the supported browsers for authoring here.
How big is the image/logo file you're attempting to upload? Have you run into trouble uploading any other images to lessons in Rise, or is it strictly the cover photo and logo locations?
If you can share a copy of the image here, I can test it out too, and we'll rule that out as a part of the issue!
