Rise on Windows Phone?
May 03, 2017
Hi all, I just got a new job (Yay!) and with it a new phone... a windows phone (I'd never seen one in real live and thought it to be somewhat of a unicorn). I tried out a Rise course I created and it's not a very smooth experience. Scrolling that occasionally gets locked the Button block that doesn't scale and doesn't show a button. Nothing drastic (with the exception of the disappearing button).
I'm running it in the default mobile internet explorer...
Anyone got similar experience? I'm going to try to download Chrome on it and see what it does.

Hi Jeff,
Congrats on the new job! Can't wait to see what you create in this new role.
I don't know a lot about the Windows phone, so I did a quick web search. The latest Windows phone runs Windows 10 mobile which includes the Edge browser. It's not one of the browsers we support on mobile (we support Edge and IE11 for desktop playback) so although the content may work, it does sound like you've run into some oddities.
For reference, our supported browsers noted here are Safari for iOS and Chrome for Android.
Let us know if the Chrome browser on the Windows phone works any better!
Lol, Chrome browser doesn't exist in Windows phone :(
Uh oh... are lots of other people going to be using the Windows phones too? Or this is just what you got as a part of the new job?
I'd look at ways in which you could recommend browsers to users - perhaps on the page where your courses are linked? I'd hate for them to run into the scrolling issues too.
