I've uploaded a few PDFs to a RISE course and when we test it through our LMS (Cornerstone) they PDFs won't download. They actually say, 'Download Failed'. Any reason why? What can we do? They work just fine when previewing the course itself, it's only when we upload to the LMS and test there.
Actually, I figured it out... there was a '+' symbol in the naming convention of the PDFs. This caused the coding to not read it correctly. We changed the names of the PDFs and they worked fine!

Hi! I am suddenly having this issue now as well. I have several pdf files embedded in my Rise course, which do not download when I test the Rise course in our LMS (Cornerstone). However, these downloads have worked in the past for this course in our LMS. I checked the pdf file titles and they do not have any unusual characters (like the plus + mentioned in the previous post). What may have changed?

And FYI the Cornerstone team is saying it's not an issue on their side.
I've also experienced this but it seems to happen more frequently with our users who are using I.E. versus those that are on Chrome.

Thanks for sharing how you solved it, Maria!
Where do you see this symbol? I don't see it in the name of the PDF that is uploaded and I'm not seeing it in the Rise file.
