I just created a training module in Rise, however, I would like to add a slide with characters - is it possible to export to Articulate 360 and add this detail or do I need to use a jpg photo in Rise?
I`m not sure what you mean. To which other component of Articulate 360 do you want to export RISE content? Or do you mean the reverse... importing characters from the content library into RISE? There is no direct export or import function for either. You would need to import characters into RISE as a bitmap.
I created the training in RISE. I wanted to use characters on one of the slides. I didn't see the usual "insert - character" toolbar at the top. This is the first time I'm using RISE, so I wondered if I could access the content from Articulate 360 and add other features.
I'm excited to let you know that you can now add Content Library photos and illustrations to your Rise lessons. You can search Content Library right from within Rise and add images with one click.

Amy - we have it on our roadmap to add Content Library to Rise. It's not
currently available though.
Thanks so much Adam! RISE is pretty awesome - that would be great functionality.
