Rise Translation Labels Carrying over to other courses

I just translated a module yesterday into Italian. I did follow the prescribed steps, including changing all of the Labels to Italian also. When I opened up a course built months ago, it's labels only are now in Italian, as is the course I began last week and wanted to continue building today. How can I eliminate the Italian labels in all courses except the 1 translated course in which they belong?

Thank you,

Hi Lisa,

When you create a new Rise course, it will always use the default label set (unless you specify otherwise). This seems to be true in your case.

So when you created your Italian label set, you probably edited the default English label set.

If you have several courses that use the same label set, those changes will apply to all of those other courses as well.

My suggestion is to access the Italian course, go to the Labels page and choose CREATE NEW, and save the current label set as Italian.

Then go to any of your other courses, and revert the label set used by all your other courses to English. All other courses that use that same label set will also be back to English.

Hi Lisa,

Karl is spot on!  When you edit text labels, the changes affect all your Rise 360 courses that use the same label set.

For example, if you edit the built-in English label set, every course that uses that label set will automatically get the same changes.

We recommend creating a new label set when you need to customize text labels so you won’t accidentally change the labels in other Rise 360 courses.

Let me know if you have any questions about that!
