Rise with Storyline blocks: Difficult from the perspective of course cohesion and/or long-term maintenance?

Hi all,

I recently suggested that my team consider using Rise with Storyline blocks, as needed, for an online course project. One of our organization's technologists responded with the following comments,"I think that using a combination of Rise and Storyline seems strange from a maintenance perspective. There are also product differences and there may be challenges achieving a common look across platforms where that is required."

These are not issues that worried me, but I will be meeting with him later today to explore his concerns as well as our different authoring tool options. If possible, I'd love to hear any thoughts folks in this forum may have on this subject before that meeting!
