In a process interaction, the first slide is an introduction with audio. The play button is not very prominent and is easy to skip. I would like the audio to automatically begin when the process interaction begins. Is there a way to do this?
Auto play is not possible. This is something that Articulate has veered away from given that web browsers do not support auto play. There has been a lot of discussion in the community about this and lots of users wanting some kind of auto play functionality in Rise. There was one response from a community manager indicating that Articulate was considering developing some kind of a narration block that the user would have to initiate the play function. I am looking forward to seeing a better integration for those of us who use audio narration in our Rise courses.
Hey my problem is similar, but not exactly the same. I have an SL slide with audio built in the timeline, that automatically plays the visuals but not the audio. Works in preview, but not in Rise.
Hi Brian! Web browsers each have different rules for auto-playing audio. For example, Google Chrome requires a "click" before audio will play automatically.
Do you see different behavior when you test your course in various web browsers? If you'd like us to have a look at it, you can share a link to your course privately here.
Bummer. Is there any way around this? See attached. I tried variants in different scenes. Unfortunately, everything basically requires a user 'click' to start the video

Hey Brian! I see Math shared some helpful information with you in this discussion. We can keep the conversation going there, if you'd like!
