Saving quiz progress in Rise
Sep 27, 2019
I'm hoping someone can help with this. I have a course built in Rise using Storyline blocks. The last block is a quiz scene that includes question slides that are accessed from an interactive slide where the learner clicks on a character, goes to the question slide, answers the question, and then returns to the character slide to go to the next character/question. I would like to allow the learners to go back to earlier blocks to review the material and then return to the last block to continue taking the quiz. The problem is, every time the learner leaves the quiz block and then returns to it, it is reset and they have to start all over again. I have the slides set to "resume saved state" in the storyline block, but it appears that Rise is resetting the block each time the learner returns to it. Is this something I can't do in Rise? TIA!

Hi there, Amie. To confirm, Storyline blocks always start from the beginning in Rise 360. You won't be able to save progress in a Storyline block if you navigate away from it.
Hi, is this likely to change as we have created a survey and it is important that the learners can see their results when they go back into thew course.
Hey, Ed.
While Storyline Block resume behavior isn't going to change, we do know that adding a survey block to Rise 360 would help to solve your need! If we add this block type in the future, we'll let you know.
