Seats

Can people be assigned and de-assigned to an admin seat? In other words, can I rotate people in and out of the second seat?

Thanks!

Hi Joey,

One of the benefits of an Articulate 360 Teams subscription is that you can reassign seats when your business needs change. For example, when people change job roles, leave your company, or go on leave, you can reassign their seats to others. Or perhaps you have subject matter experts who create courses a couple times a year or students who matriculate and no longer need seats. In these cases, you’ll be able to easily reassign users to those seats. However, it’s not permitted to frequently swap multiple people in and out of the same seat.

Also, I noticed you referenced "admin seats" in your question. I should point out that the administrator of the team does not consume an end user seat by default. A seat can be assigned to an admin, but it's not required since often administrators are not also course developers. Also, a team can have multiple administrators.

Here is some more information on the roles in Articulate 360 Teams: https://articulate.com/support/article/Articulate-360-Teams-User-Roles

Hope that helps!

Yes Joey, we are working on review capabilities for Rise, currently slated for release in Q2. Even better, our collaborative authoring feature is set to come even sooner. I see that you have an Articulate 360 Teams subscription already, so if your manager was given a seat, you'll soon be able to work together on your Rise courses.

We'll definitely make a forums announcement when these features are available and you can always stay abreast of recently released and imminent major features on our What's New page: https://articulate.com/360/whats-new
