Short Answer Questions

You can use the Fill-in-the-blank question type. The problem is evaluating typed short answers as being correct.

While Rise doesn't currently have a Short Answer question type, tell me more about how you would use this feature. 

• Would this question be part of a graded quiz, or would you prefer it to be an ungraded block type? 
• What would be considered a "correct" answer?
• Would you want the learner's answer sent to the LMS?

This might not be the right thread, but I'd LOVE to see a short answer, or even Essay question type for rise. Not necessarily graded, but something that can be reported back to the LMS. 

If it were to be an 'ungraded block type', would there be a way to report results to the LMS?

I've got a course I'm building right now, and I've been embedding Google forms for users to record short answers the that client can track. But the client says it's 'clunky'. And I agree.
