Skipping a quiz or sorting activity

Dec 15, 2017

Hello, is there a way to allow learners to bypass the quiz or sorting activity? I know they can skip ahead using the menu, but I'd like to give them the choice to complete practice activities with a continue button or by having the next lesson link at the bottom.
Any guidance on this would be appreciated!

Hi there! Great question. 🙂

For now, learners can skip a Rise quiz or a sorting activity by using the menu in the left panel, as long as the navigation is set to 'Free'. I can see how it would be helpful to also have a continue button at the bottom of the lesson, though! I'd be happy to pass that idea along to my team for you.

Thanks for letting us know how we can make things better!

Hi LaVon!

The Sorting Activity is an interactive lesson that gives the learner a "hands-on" learning experience. Because it isn't part of a quiz, it's not graded.

If you'd like to see a sorting question added to the quiz question types so that it can be graded, send us a feature request! Thanks for letting us know how we can make Rise better for you. 😊
