Solution for letter spacing problem (ligatures) in Rise

Hi guys,

I was not able to find a solution for my issue among existing threads, so I`m sharing my experience.

Issue: when using a custom font some letter combinations would create an arc above them or make the letters “stick” to each other.

Solution: download a font editing software to manually remove ligatures, resave the font and reupload it to Rise.

More detailed info re my issue:

I uploaded a font to Rise, which worked totally fine in Latin layout except cases when the letters “s” and “t”, “s” and “p”, “c” and “t” stood next to each other in this particular sequence. Whenever they were close (like in “stop”, “spot”, “tact”) there would appear an arc above the letters. The following combinations would look weird too: fi, ff, ft, ffi, fl, ij. The thing is that my font had the so called ligatures, which made the font behave that way.
