I have a Storyline block in a rise course that doesn't load automatically. Once you get to that block, the Storyline file is black and there's a play button to launch it. However, directly below that block is a second Storyline block that does autoplay (aka, it doesn't have the play button but just loads automatically). Is this a glitch or am I doing something wrong?
I have this same question. My two Storyline blocks that are loaded into the same Rise course are behaving differently. They have the same settings and the same types of timeline actions (animations, objects appearing and/or moving). Neither contains a video or an audio file.

Hi, Samantha!
You mentioned you're seeing the play button while viewing the course on a PC. Does the Storyline block have audio or video on the first slide?
Browsers like Chrome and Safari have started to block the autoplay of media. This article explains why you're seeing a play button in those browsers.
Let me know if that answers your question!

I'm stumped.
Hey Laurie! Thanks for also asking this question in your case with Renato! You're in good hands there.
Since he has access to your file, he can test it and let you know why you're seeing this behavior. You'll hear back from him soon!
