Hi - I'm new to Rise. Could someone tell me how to use symbols in superscript in the titles, headers and text? Currently, I can copy a symbol into the course but it is not superscript size.
When developing training for products or companies, these symbols are critical.
It's actually a feature request I've passed along to our Product team!
I know myself and a few other community members were able to copy and paste them out of Word into Rise. You'll need to use the options in Word to "insert symbol" not an equation editor.
Another idea from my colleague was to use the Unicode characters to insert them into the text. Just a quick web search will help you find the ones you need - for example the previous discussion was a user who needed a superscript 6.
Inserting symbol and copying and pasting does not work. It looks like this:

The trademark is not superscript. After reading the other discussion, I realize that we won't be able to put in reference numbers either. This is disappointing.
We were planning on using Rise to build courses for a customer who requires referencing on content. Unfortunately, I don't think we will be able to use it now.
I'll review using the unicode characters but I am not sure that will be a solution. Do you know when this feature will be completed?
I know the copy/paste was inconsistent as a workaround - for example it worked for me, but not for my colleague. I have heard that the Unicode characters is working well for those who couldn't copy/paste.
I don't have an update regarding if this feature will be included in Rise, but it has been shared with the Product team! I'll keep you posted here about any changes.
Check out one of the newest Rise features - increased text formatting options, including subscript and superscript. I hope that helps with your writing equations in Rise! Here’s a quick tutorial on editing text in Rise.
I am using a tabbed block and I need to use this i Assignment Tip: but I need the i circled. The only option for that is if I use the Note block, but the user want this within a Tabs interactive block. How can I do this? Thanks. Stef
It's possible to copy the "encircled i" symbol and paste it into the tabs block. However, the title of the tab is always uppercase, so it's not possible to use a lowercase "i". Here's a quick video demo of what I mean.
HI there, Thanks for the reply. I don't have an encircled i that i could copy to make it work. The one I tried, is not pasting. Could you please send me the one you used, please? I also need this to be in the description section pasted not the item title. Thank you. Stef

Here you go, Stef: ⓘ
I sourced that symbol from this site: https://www.compart.com/en/unicode/U+24D8
Perfect! Thank you so much! You've been of great help! Stef
