Switching from Mac to Windows for a Rise project?

Aug 11, 2017

Hello,
Are there problems if the user switches from a Mac Rise project to Windows for completion?

For mac, are there Rise limitations or gotchas? (e.g., font, image display issues, browser issues)

Thank you,

Cher

Hi Cher,

Authors and viewers should be able to use Rise in the Mac or Windows side of the browsers detailed here.

Are your users switching browsers/devices, but looking to resume where they've left off? If you're hosting your course in an  Learning Management System (LMS), the LMS will track that information. If you're using the "share" link from Rise or hosting it on a web server, the user would need to be viewing the course on the same device/browser where the local cookies/history are stored.

Let me know if you need anything else!

Hi Cher,

Keep in mind that each Articulate ID is for one individual - so you'll want to use the "Send a copy" feature to allow other users to have access to the Rise course for editing purposes and each person will own and edit their own copy.

We're also working on a Collaborators feature so that you and another 360 Teams member could edit the same Rise course together. We'll keep you posted on that feature's release!
