Are greater text field editing features in the pipeline? Even the possibility to paste html styled text and have it translated (e.g. square red bulleted list)?
Or something basic like allowing line breaks in flash card text.
Hi Ruth! We've got some really great text editing improvements happening soon. Once we've finalized the features of our new text editor, we'll let you know exactly what's available.
That's great, just what I needed. I'm having a little trouble with the align tool in Flash Cards. I've selected left alignment but I'm not sure it's being applied.
Does the screen grab explain this?
Or perhaps the nature of Flash cards is that they a centered and won't accept a left align.
I'm seeing the same thing as you described where align left seems to keep the items centered, and I recorded a quick Peek of all the alignment options.
I'll get this reported to our team as a possible bug. I'll keep you posted here.
As Ashley mentioned, we want to be sure to keep you updated!
You'll be happy to know that we have an update to Rise today:
Enhanced: Text in flashcard blocks can now be left-aligned.
In fact, there are now five alignment options for text throughout Rise: left, center, right, justify, and a new option to return to the default alignment for the selected text. Learn more.
There's nothing to install. New features and fixes are immediately available, though you might need to export a Rise course again to update existing published output with a new feature or bug fix.
All the details on our Rise updates can be found here.

Ah yes, I see. It changes it for right align and justified so should also work for left align. Glad to hear it's not a Flash card restriction.
I'll keep you posted here with any updates, Ruth! Thanks for reporting it.
