We have found that using the same resources in the creation of an eLearning course in Storyline and in Rise, when we publish the file in SCORM it´much bigger in Rise than Storyline, anybody know why?
I posted in the forum because of Leslie's comment above which mentions that "The issue shared above had files tripling in size, which was not expected." This is what has happened to mine and, as it's not expected behaviour, I wondered if there had been any resolution for the cases above?
The reason I queried the file size was because my Rise file is almost triple the size of the Storyline 360 file. Leslie mentions in her post above that this is not expected behaviour so I was wondering if there was something wrong with my file?
I was also struggling with large prohibitive scorm files with Rise. This is just a plug for Handbrake (free) for compressing videos. I just downloaded it this morning and was able to compress the videos in my courses, re-upload them up in my courses in Rise, and then upload the courses in my LMS. These are the instructions that were helpful in using Handbrake:
