Hello! I've been playing with (and loving) Rise. I'm curious to know if it is or will be possible to transfer Rise projects between people? For example, if I have a team of developers at work and a person leaves, can I transfer his or her Rise projects to myself or another member of the team?
Hi Tim - we don't have this feature right now but we are adding it. So hopefully by the time you actually have the need, this feature will be available!
That is great is there any chance we can get to share courses with different organisations and perhaps work on them collaboratively?
I work with a number of organisations where they take control of the files after I complete them, and sometimes they will need me to look at them sometimes. It would be good to be able to share these!
I'm curious about Barry's question too.. is it just for people on Teams or could I, as a developer in an elearning company pass it off to a client who is on a different "team"?
Is this still on track to be released by end of Q1 (end of this month)? I'm guessing it would be with your testing/validation dept at this point if it is. Thanks!
We're still working on the Transfer feature and the Collaborators feature, and it is looking like end of this Q1 or very early in Q2. Some additional testing is happening at this point, so we'll keep you posted once we're able to push that feature out to you! Thanks for checking in.
Good to hear! My team will welcome the news as well. The ability to transfer or import courses is a critical component for our workflow moving forward with Rise.
Hi, sorry for not posting in the totally right forum, but this is somewhat related.
I'm reaching the end of my trial period for 360 and I've developed quite some stuff in RISE (I love it). I'm about to subscribe, probably today, and I have 2 questions. The most important one is this: will what I have developed so far in Rise, during trial, still be available when I've subscribed? And the second, if I subscribe as single user and the Transfer features requires Team accounts, can I then upgrade to Teams? Thanks!
Also, the ability to transfer a course will be accessible to all Rise users (individual or teams). The Collaboration feature that is coming, where you'd work on a course together and be able to share it, is something that will only be for 360 Teams accounts (you'll be able to collaborate with another user on your own team or another team).
We pushed an update out to Rise yesterday allowing you to now copy and send a Rise course to another author (individual or teams user). You can read more about it here and the full Rise version history is here.
Collaboration feature is also still on it's way - so we'll keep you posted on that too.

That's fantastic! Thanks, Adam!

Yes Phil, we're working on a "Collaborators" feature that has this kind of functionality.
Great, Thanks!
So glad I saw this thread, this is great news! A collaborate feature will be really helpful.
Any time-frame for this feature @Adam?
For organisations like ours, this is a must have requirement!
Q1, Adam.
Thanks Adam
Reading the what's new features page it looks like this feature is being planned for Teams users only? Say It Isn't So... :(

Hello Alana - Sorry that Barry's question was not addressed. The collaborator feature will be for Teams:
Collaborative Authoring
Articulate 360 Teams users can collaborate on Rise courses at the same time and hand off courses to one another.
Wah wah...
Just to be clear, you can pass it on to people who are on other teams too. Not just yours.
... but if I only have a single user account (versus a team member account) I can't take what I created and pass to another team?
Thanks everyone!
Alana
Hang tight Alana - when we release the feature all the details will be provided. :-)

I can't speak to the Team upgrade, but I know the things I developed on my trial were still there when I subscribed!
Thanks!
Just subscribed :)
I confirm all courses are still there, and yes, there is an option to upgrade to Teams!
You beat me to all the answer Philippe!
