I've just found that the right side image I uploaded in the two-column grid gets cropped horizontally. Resizing the images didn't help. Anyone else finding that? Suggestions?
Hi Brian. The image grid blocks will crop the images into squares, and you can work with that behavior in 2 ways:
In the editing window, you can choose Edit next to the image and select "Crop image." From here, choose how the image is cropped into a square.
In the block Settings, keep "enable zoom on image click" checked, and that setting will allow learners to click the image from the grid to get a full view of it.
Are you seeing something different on your end? I'll be happy to help!
Restriction to only square pictures in a sea of white space makes no sense. Rise needs more workable space rather than acres of white space and tiny light gray font. It's an Apple design style but still frustrating!
For anyone searching this topic, the fix may be designing your own image of both images that you have within the two-grid layout and making it the single centered image functionality to zoom in on.

Hi Ellen,
Sorry you’re having trouble with this.
Can you share a screenshot of what you’re seeing?
In the meantime, Here’s an article on best practices for images in Rise that could be helpful.
Answer on this yet? Still does not work.

I agree this restriction is unnecessary and overlooked. Please fix this.
