Any further word on recovering blocks that are accidentally deleted? I am creating my first RISE course and I'm astounded that there doesn't seem to be a way to "undo" a mistake...a function that is common to virutally EVERY program out there! Thanks...
Uhhg. Any news about adding an undo feature in 2020? We are humans and we make mistakes. We need an undo/back button to recover lost work. I have not encountered any other software that does not have this feature. It's basic necessary functionality for all development tools.
May I add my name to the request for a proper undo function? Software like Sharepoint stores the history of what you're doing even when you've left the app, so that if someone makes a colossal mistake, you can back up and put it right. In my case, I've come back to a Rise course I built, and someone has accidentally deleted 3/4 of the course. No way of getting it back or tracking what happened
Thank goodness for Articulate community - Thank you. I am not sure how but managed to delete a whole block of text .... text spent ages refining. Quick search led me to your post - in less than 5 minutes resolved. But yes i would like to be added to the list of requesters for a better and more visible UNDO process.
I'm adding to this important request. I just accidentally deleted an important block that I was working on and cannot recover it, as I missed the fleeting undo option. This is a much needed option for improvement please! Thank you otherwise for continuing to improve this useful software.

Help. I clicked on the delete block icon. How do i recover my text block?
I did the same thing, I wanted to change the block from a NOTE to Heading and it blew all the info away. How can I get it back?
Unfortunately, Articulate has delayed such an important function.
Ouch.....

You do have a few seconds to hit UNDO, but you need to be quick ....
Totally missed it then :(

When you delete a block, in the bottom left corner of the browser a message is displayed: Block removed. UNDO.
It is there for just a few seconds and then gone forever.
See the attached image.
In my case I was changing the block from a note to heading and it removed all content.

Hi Julie,
Have you tried switching it back to Note?
Good question I can't recall if I did or not. But, I copied the info from my Review 360 and added a new block.

Hi Julie! Switching the block type back to Note should bring the text back. Smart idea to copy the text from Review 360, too!
Any updates on a more robust "undo" feature?
No updates yet, Elizabeth. Thanks for checking in!
Just adding I too would really love an undue button but using 360 review as a back up can help just not in realtime editing.... whaaaa

Please add my name to the requested feature list.
Hi there, Heather. There are a few ways to recover accidentally deleted content:
CTRL+Z
(orCMD+Z
) to undo the action. We have a request logged to make the Undo button more noticeable, and we'll let you know here if we make any changes!

Yes, please add a feature to allow users to "UNDO."
+1 for an improved UNDO function.
+1. Painful not having this.
Very painful not having an undo feature.
Can we not make that button stay a little longer, or ask to be closed, I just lost a whole mornings work, so frustrated!
