I have been trying to upload videos (MP4 format) and audio recordings (MP3 and M4A) without success in Rise. It keeps processing for ages but nothing has been imported in the end.

Great question--Internet Explorer 11 is supported for viewing Rise courses, so your learners shouldn't have a problem using that browser. Have a look here at all of the browsers supported for Rise viewing.

What browser were you using when this happened? Have you tried other browsers, as well?
You'll want to stick with one of these since they're supported for Rise authoring.

Explorer was indeed the issue - now I have used Edge, I don't seem to encounter any problems at all.
One more question: does it mean that the learners will have to use Edge or Firefox in order to be able to view the course on Rise correctly?
