I put a video in Storyline, saved it with play and stop triggers, and placed it in a course in Rise. Whenever the course in Rise opens, the video starts playing. How can I stop that from happening? It's about 1/3rd of the way through that the learner will see the video so I would like the learner to have control over when it starts.
Whether a video starts playing straightaway or when you trigger it with controls, should depend on the settings you have made in Storyline before publishing your file. This link shows a short Rise example with three different video options. The first one is a direct import into a Rise Video block, the second and third are both using Storyline, with the Play Video option set to Automatically and When Triggered respectively.

Hi Jen,

Hope this helps.
Just curious, why did you choose the SL block for video and not the default insert video option in Rise? Was it to have the custom player controls?
The file type I had wasn't uploading. It kept giving me an error.
