Video in Rise

Hi,

I have done a project in Storyline 360 and exported it as a video. This video is measured at 1200 x 675 which is also a ratio of 16:9. However, after I uploaded to Rise as a video, I see a fine black line on the right side of the video so I performed some trial and error to the size but to no avail.

Can someone please point to me what may have gone wrong?

Please also see attached screenshot with a red marking to highlight the error.

Hi Megan,

I wouldn't expect to see thin black lines on the sides of the video if the ratio is 16:9. Would you mind sharing that video file so we can test it on our side?

If that works for you, you can send it to our Support team here. They'll delete the file when they're done testing.

I think it isn't necessary anymore. Sometimes the video doesn't show the black line on the right side and sometimes it does. Not exactly sure why but I think I can just leave it as that.

Hi Megan!

That could be related to your browser window size. Do you notice that the lines appear or disappear when you change the width of the browser window?

Hi Alyssa

It isn't due to the browser window size. The line actually disappeared in the preview mode :)
