Hi I have compressed my videos to 17mb total but when I publish my rise module to scorm it totals 42 MB there are no other items in the file . I have a limit of 30MB for our LMS what can I do - ? the compressed videos are pretty good quality but the size in Rise doesn’t add up ? ?
Hi Karl we used to stream them using MS stream but because networks are loaded due to all worki
g from home they are buffering so that is why I need to put them in the module. I notice there is an auto compression if you don’t use a preset from handbrake. Do you video techs know a way I could do this ?
Hi Alyssa - thanks for getting back to me. I have worked out a way to get around this. Once the SCORM file is published I went into the assets folder and I replaced the video files with the ones I had compressed in handbrake. Then I zipped up the SCORM file and the size went from 32MB to 18 MB
Cool - please pass this on to anyone else who needs it

Hi there, Jane! Could our team take a closer look at your course? We would love to see the course Share link, as well as the SCORM output file.
If that works for you, you can send those assets to us by opening a case. Thank you!
