I noticed the introductory course in Rise contains an Adam Schwartz video at the beginning, and that video has player controls allowing me to speed up/slow down the video speed.
I thought this might be a Rise feature (which would be awesome!), but when I tested using a video I uploaded I don't have that option.
Thanks Ashley, I didn't realize that the video was embedded from another source, such as YouTube, but it makes sense. I had hoped that this was somehow a feature of videos added to Rise, how awesome would that have been?
PS, please thank Justin for mocking up the example, much appreciated.
I will certainly pass along your thanks and the feedback about the video speed. Thanks for sharing! If you have more detail to share, please feel free to fill out the feature request form here.

Hi Brian,
That video was created outside of Rise, but you can set up the same functionality in a Rise course using a YouTube video.
You'll see the speed option is available when you click on the Gear icon after pressing play. Here's a quick example a colleague created.

This is the biggest hurdle i am facing in fully implementing modules on the Articulate platform.
My students constantly complain about not being to play videos at twice or 1.5x speed.
Please help!
Hi Nitin,
Thanks for letting us know this is an important feature for you! We're tracking this request, and I'll be sure to include your feedback.
In the meantime, have you explored hosting the videos on YouTube as Ashley mentioned above?
