Accessing HTML code in Rise

Jul 25, 2017

Hi

Is it possible to access the HTML in Rise? We want to add functionality in a course, so that contact numbers can be clicked on and the user's mobile will make the call.

thanks

Lance is correct and unfortunately, it limits our own customization abilities in hopes of providing our customer's features they've become accustomed to with PDF's.

At the least, it would be nice if each of the chapters in the Rise course could be assigned a unique ID on them and be included in the html attributes. Since the contents for each chapter are dynamically being injected in the html document, we need additional identifiers to reload saved annotations and highlights (custom script call) to their correct location and range.

Hi Cassius,

That's a good insight into your development needs with Rise and what you're trying to accomplish. I went ahead and shared that language in the form of a feature request to get it into the hands of our product team. You may have received the email confirmation already.

Feel free to send along any other thoughts and ideas as Feature requests here. If you’re curious what happens when you submit a feature request, here’s our process.

Thanks again!

On the attachment is it possible to get the code in the title section so the trademarks are corrected.  It is correct everywhere but here?  I see it correct on the same page with identical wording except the title won't superscript properly.  In the HTML code it show correct see picture 2

This is an old thread, but I wanted to let you know that I just posted code that allows similar functionality to what you are seeking. It's a Learning Journal that allows the learner to enter text responses to journal prompts throughout a Rise course and at the end print their learning journal of all their responses. If you are familiar with Javascript, you can build on it.
