I have a series of Pre-built Lessons (e.g., labelled graphic, process, timeline) that I need to add to a Block. Do you know if this is possible without rebuilding the lesson?
Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide!!
Great question - currently blocks and lesson types will be separate elements within Rise. If you needed to use a pre-built lesson that you already created again with some tweaks or revisions you could use the "Duplicate" button to create a copy of it and make any changes within the copy.
I agree. The ability to use Labelled Graphics (or any of the other Pre-built lessons) in a Rise block would mean we could make even better courses with Rise rather than having to create dis-similar and crude workarounds.
Alternatively the ability to add a Rise block to a Pre-built lesson, so I can add a Video to the lesson aafter a Labelled graphic for example rather than having to create a new lesson, even though they may be on the same subject.
Add me to the list of those who want to be able to include pre-built lessons in with blocks. I don't want the user to have to start a new lesson if we're not through covering a topic. But in order to have text blocks after a "process" style lesson, that is what I am having to do. Is there a better workaround?
YES!! This would be extremely helpful! I would LOVE to be able to add a "process" to an existing "block" within Rise! Can't wait for this option! THANKS!!
You asked, we delivered! I’m excited to share that the Rise Labeled Graphic block has arrived. Check it out here, and you can also review this article for ways to get started with this new feature.

Hi Cheryl,
Great question - currently blocks and lesson types will be separate elements within Rise. If you needed to use a pre-built lesson that you already created again with some tweaks or revisions you could use the "Duplicate" button to create a copy of it and make any changes within the copy.
Hope that helps!
I also have that need. It would be great if blocks and lesson types were more interchangeable within Rise. (See https://community.articulate.com/discussions/rise/suggestions-to-improve-rise.)
Thanks!

Thanks Donna and Charlain!

Great news... Sorting blocks are out in Rise! Now you can easily add sorting interactions to the custom lessons you create with blocks.
Here's a recap of our Rise releases to date. Let me know if you have any questions!
The goodness keeps on coming: we've also added the Process block to the collection in Rise and it’s as easy as 1-2-3 to use! ☺️
Hope you enjoy, and the What's New, What's Next page is another great place to stay in the Rise know!
New block types are available in Rise today!
Take a look at the announcement here about the new timeline block and the additional question types in the knowledge check block. You'll also find some more details in this article on using the timeline and the new question types for a knowledge check are listed here.
